Clinical Nurse, Full-Time RN

Are you a nurse who values relationship-based care and making a meaningful impact in your community? The Moab Free Health Clinic is seeking a compassionate, adaptable Clinical Nurse to care for uninsured and underserved patients in a collaborative, mission-driven setting.

About the Role
The Clinical Nurse provides direct patient care and works closely with volunteer and staff providers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a small team, is comfortable with a broad scope of responsibilities, and is passionate about health equity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care (intake, vitals, basic procedures)

  • Support providers during exams and treatments

  • Coordinate follow-up care, referrals, and patient communication

  • Educate patients on medications, chronic disease management, and prevention

  • Assist with documentation and clinic flow

  • Participate in community outreach and health education

What We’re Looking For

  • Active RN license (Utah or eligible)

  • Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with patients

  • Comfortable in a flexible, resource-limited setting

  • Organized, proactive, and team-oriented

  • Interest in building lasting relationships with patients and the Moab community

  • Commitment to serving uninsured and underserved populations

Preferred (but not required)

  • Spanish language skills

  • Experience in primary care, community health, or public health

  • Experience working with diverse or vulnerable populations
