Moab Free Health Clinic

Title: Executive Director

Reports to: Board of Directors

Full-time, benefited

The Executive Director will be responsible for the following activities in order to maintain Moab Free Health Clinic’s mission, compliance, and daily operations:

  • Mission and Strategy:
    • Maintain existing policies and procedures and revise as needed
    • Provide organizational oversight to ensure mission compliance and delivery
    • Work with Board of Directors and Clinical Director to set strategic goals and direction
    • Maintain community relations with local businesses and non-profit organizations
  • Grants and Fundraising:
    • Maintain existing corporate and private foundation grants including proposals and reports
    • Maintain grant calendar and fundraising records
    • Research and apply for new grants, at the direction of the board, to support clinic staff, programs and services
    • Coordinate Annual Fund, Incentive Drive, Capital Campaigns, and other fundraising events
    • Support individual donations and major gifts
  • Human Resources:
    • Oversee maintenance of license and credentialing records for clinical personnel and internal human resources paperwork for MFHC staff
    • Work with Clinical Director to manage staff and volunteer recruitment, applications, hiring, training, and reviews
    • Oversee staff schedule and time-off requests
    • Supervise MFHC clinic staff, including Office Manager, Bookkeeper, Care Coordinator and Patient Advocate
  • Business and finances
    • Work with bookkeeper to ensure maintenance of accounting records (Quick Books), preparation of financial reports and coordinate annual 990 preparation and audit services, worker’s compensation, etc.
    • Maintain business licenses, FTCA application and coverage and property tax exemptions
    • Oversight and approval of vendor and contractor payments
    • Maintain Director email account
    • Oversee organizational finances and report on financial health to the Board of Directors
    • Prepare and submit a proposed annual budget to the Board of Directors
    • Prepare and oversee distribution of Annual Report to donors, volunteers, and community stakeholders
    • Other Duties as assigned by the Board of Directors
